Antigua is the archetypal Caribbean island - sun-drenched, fringed with dazzling white sand and set by a warm jade and aquamarine sea. If you’re dreaming of those picture perfect beaches, Antigua has 365 of them and the the pink sand beaches of sister island Barbuda are, perhaps, even better than Antigua’s. The Island has a long tradition of sailing, both in historic association with Britain (Horatio Nelson was stationed here) and sailing in its modern form, as the venue for the Caribbean’s major regatta and winter home to a number of mega yachts.
As Antigua is one of the two islands that make up the nation of Antigua and Barbuda, we reccommend visitors take a cruise over to sister island Barbuda to check out the breathtaking pink sandy beaches. Princess Diana fell in love with this little island and you will too!
